Patricia Walsh, owner and manager of Possum Gully Fine Arts Adelaide Lead for over 22 years is an accomplished artist in her own right.Patricia trained as a Secondary teacher, studying fine arts at Melbourne State College, Bendigo School of Mines, Melbourne University, RMIT and La Trobe University. Works include printmaking, life drawing and oil, watercolour and gouache paint on canvas and rag paper. In 2015 a diary was completed that recorded the wildflowers and insects in the bush and garden at Adelaide Lead. These were done from real life and to size without the use of a camera and were a month by month record. Life drawing has always been a challenge and this involves a trip to Castlemaine every week to join a group that provides a venue and models. Many of the paintings are still life and landscapes of the goldfields region.
